Apple iWork
iWork for iCloud
Apple Friday morning made iWork for iCloud Beta available for the public to test out via the iCloud Web site. iWork for iCloud lets users access iWork features directly from the comfort of a Web browser without the need to install software on the computer.
iWork for iCloud is just what you think it is – iWork in the cloud. Users can access features from Pages, Keynote, and Numbers right from the cloud, and access built-in editing tools, like fonts, text-sizes, and more.
The popular Safari, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome Web browsers are supported by Apple's iWork for iCloud. Users can access the Web-based iWork software from almost any platform, including Mac OS X and for the first time, Windows. Notably, the software has built-in support for Microsoft Office files, as well as its own native files.
The iWork for iCloud software is accessed from your iCloud account, which you can sign into via this link. Although the public now has access to the Web-based software, iWork for iCloud is indeed still in beta, and will most likely remain in this stage until this Fall.
